Decision-MENT

IMPROVING THE ABILITY TO TAKE DECISIONS

The ability to take 'GOOD' decisions is not inborn. Like any other ability it can be acquired and refined.

DO YOU FIND YOURSELF IN FRONT OF AN IMPORTANT DECISION AND YOU CAN NOT MAKE UP YOUR MIND?

You may very likely you are missing some information. Otherwise taking the decision would be an automatic and natural step.

The ability to take “good” decisions does not mean to “decide quickly” or “to impose our decisions on others”; it has nothing to do with the tendency to take risks or accept compromises.

It deals rather with the ability to clarify the hidden elements that lie and await “behind and “beyond” the decision.

  • How can we let hidden elements and missing information emerge?
  • How can we be sure of the correctness of our decision?
  • How can we cope with the consequences of our decision?

Decision-MENT is a methodology developed in Alkyma to train the ability to take decisions, which combines the traditional analytical business methodology with Professional Coaching and emotional intelligence.

How?

  • We use established business management techniques such as S.W.A.T, P.E.S.T, Cartesian logic.
  • We integrate them with techniques derived from Neurolinguistic Programming such as S.C.O.R.E, Metaprograms, Timeline, Disney Hero’s journey and many others.
  • We bind them with emotional intelligence and mBraining, letting the deeper and subconscious reasons and purposes come to surface.
  • We support you in transforming limiting beliefs in drivers for change.
  • We operate in a context of Professional Coaching so that people learn from themselves on how they take decisions and how they can improve this skill.

Alice: “Would you tell me, which way I ought to go from here?”
Cat: ”'That depends a good deal on where you want to get to.”
Alice: “I don't much care where.”
Cat: ”Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”

Alice added as an explanation: ”… so long as I get SOMEWHERE.”
Cat: “Oh, you're sure to do that, if you only walk long enough.”
